Event Updates – Ron Beaver, 858 rb64089@gmail.com
Although the dog days of summer have kept most TKE alumni busy with family events and vacations, many have still enjoyed the occasional round of golf or cold drink with a fellow Frater. Dan Barnett, Omaha area social director, says many fraters frequent a favorite watering hole, Glory Days at 106 W. Broadway in Council Bluffs, IA, which is owned and operated by Frater Brandon Juon. Please stop by sometime and introduce yourself whenever in the area.
If you have any questions or suggestions for upcoming events please call or text anytime at 816-304-5354 or email rb64089@gmail.com.
September 18 - Northwest at Nebraska-Omaha football, UNO’s Caniglia Field, Omaha
Dan is also putting final touches on Omaha's next big event for Saturday, Sept 18th when the Bearcats visit UNO for the Mavericks' annual beatin'. A TKE DN tailgate has been scheduled for 3:00 - 5:45 p.m. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m. atop the east campus parking garage on the UNO campus. Many Northwest alumni congregate there when the Bearcats play in Omaha so it should be a fun time for all. Parking is only $5 and general admission tickets only $12. Make you plans now to come to the tailgate, watch the game and stay overnight in mecca of the Midwest – Omaha! Food and tasty adult beverages will be served. Your small donation to help cover expenses will assure similar events in the future.
For game day details, parking info, etc. please call or text Frater Dan Barnett at 402-598-3264 or email dan.r.barnett@gmail.com. Also look for announcements on the two TKE Facebook pages and www.nwtke.com.

Alumni Association Membership – Brad Shelton, brad.shelton@nwtke.com
In November 2009, the new Alumni Association began its membership drive. To date, we have received annual dues totaling more than $8,400 from 100 Alumni from across the U.S.! These dues go to fund web site development, produce the bi-annual newsletter, produce monthly e-Newsletters like this one and maintain the Delta Nu Frater Database, not to mention supporting the fund raising efforts of the TKE Scholarship, the Pete Greve Incoming Freshman Scholarship, the Special Projects Fund and the Capital Improvements Fund. Just as important, your annual dues support the efforts of the Social Committee to bring events to cities near you!
The vast majority of Alumni have committed to the three-year-membership for $105 (only $35 per year in one payment) and other options are available.
Please join me in welcoming these newest members to the Alumni Association.

Delta Nu Alumni Association Members Vote to purchase a brick for TKE HQ
As mentioned in last month’s eReview, there was a vote posed to the Delta Nu Alumni Association to sponsor a brick, with Delta Nu’s name on it, to be placed in the foyer of TKE’s new headquarters in Indianapolis. This vote passed 74-0. Five hundred dollars from the Alumni Association fund will be spent on the brick, to be placed later in the year.
