The Peter J. Greve TKE Alumni Scholarship was established by a group of Delta Nu alumni with the goal of promoting Northwest Missouri State, TKE and the achievement of a college education. This is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman/graduating high school senior. To be eligible, applicants must have maintained a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above from ninth grade through the first semester of their senior year. The applicant must be an accepted entering freshman by Northwest Missouri State University and nominated by a TKE alumnus. No specific major is required.
Delta Nu TKE alumni will serve as evaluators and will review student transcripts, supporting information, and recommendation letters in their deliberations. As funds allow, several scholarships can be awarded.
Applications are currently due annually on April 1st. The application is available on the www.nwtke.com web site. This date may change in the future.
Fund Manager: Bruce Barlow, ΔN 533, bbarlow88@comcast.net
The “TKE House Capital Improvement Fund” provides support only for “Capital Improvements” to the fraternity house. Contributions to the “TKE House Capital Improvement Fund” will be recognized on the “The Richard W. Wiles (ΔN 365) Teke for Life Alumni Donor Wall.”
Plans for this fund, once properly funded, include both short (1-3 yrs.) and long term (5-10 yrs.) permanent improvements to the house and grounds. The Board of Advisors is currently compiling a list of ideas, big and small to add to our house and improve its functionality, durability and overall fraternity experience for our members and alumni.
Funds will NOT be used for ongoing operating expenses, utilities, mortgage payments, etc. Per the Board of Alumni Advisors, those expenses rest solely on the shoulders of the active chapter through collection of rent and parlor fees from the chapter members.
Fund Manager: Steve Moss, ΔN 927, semoss@mchsi.com
The Special Projects fund is used for educational-related or leadership-based programs. This account is primarily funded by Delta-Nu alumni through direct donations or through Life Loyal Teke enrollments and is tax deductible.
Fund Manager: Scott Keilbey, ΔN 666, skeilbey@tnemec.com
This account is set up to receive payments for various social and other special purpose events. The funds are deposited into the general account and are then credited toward that specific event or expense such as golf, homecoming, bowling, or special philanthropic events calling for volunteer donations from the alumni and other non TKE contributors.
The TKE Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Delta Nu in 1989 through the Northwest Foundation and is still the only scholarship fund from a Northwest fraternity. This scholarship is a $300 award per year and is awarded to an active member in good standing.
The scholarship is awarded through contributions to the fund. As more contributions to the fund come in, increased amounts can be given in scholarship funding. Donations to this fund are tax deductible through the Northwest (Missouri State University) Foundation.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a sophomore level or above; maintain a GPA 2.50 or above and must live in the house in the upcoming year for which the fund is awarded. An application to the Selection Committee through Dave will be required. The application is available on the www.nwtke.com web site.
Fund Manager: Dave Teeter, ΔN 901, dteeter@mc-wildcats.org
