Event Recaps
Bowling Tournament – Feb. 21
Although it was cold and nasty outside on Sunday, February 21st for the Annual TKE Bowling Tournament, the competition (if you want to call it that) inside the AMF bowling complex in North Kansas City was smoking hot. Thanks to the 20 TKE Delta Nu alumni that drove through the snow and ice to spend a couple hours sharing lies and throwing gutter balls.
Congrats to the winning team of Ken Yeager, Bernie Batliner, Tony Dorrell, Scott Ooton and Steve Brightwell. These gentlemen are now the Charter Members of a new traveling trophy that will be engraved with their names and cherished by all for years to come.

Alumni News
Peter J. Greve Scholarship campaign and April 1st deadline
The deadline is April 1st for applications is fast approaching and there has been a great response from students interested in applying for the scholarship. If you know of a soon-to-be-graduate planning on attending NWMSU next year and want to help sponsor an applicant, please visit www.nwtke.com/content/scholarship to view and download the application. The scholarship applicant must by nominated by a TKE alumnus.
It has been about one year since Pete’s passing. Nearly a year before, Pete started this scholarship as a way for TKE alumni to give back to the university that brought us all together and to promote TKE on campus and the community.   It is amazing how this effort has brought a lot of Fraters back in touch with each other! We are asking you to help keep Pete’s spirit, vision, and legacy alive with your support of the TKE Alumni Scholarship. The scholarship exists solely thru your 100% tax deductible contributions. Every dollar contributed to the TKE Alumni Scholarship goes to award future scholarships. We have just begun a fund raising campaign in hopes to be able to continue awarding scholarships. Please continue Pete’s efforts by donating today.
For more information, contact Bruce Barlow, DN 533 at: tkedn533@comcast.net or visit http://www.nwtke.com/content/donation-opportunities

What the Alumni had to say….
“I enjoyed receiving the latest issue of the Delta Nu Review. It sounds like there are a lot of both active and alumni fraters that are doing great work for the chapter so I wanted to do something to help support all those good efforts. I have enclosed my check for a 3 year alumni membership.” Orlo Shroyer, 281
“It’s pretty amazing what Delta Nu chapter has accomplished since that terrible November day over 13 years ago. For many a fraternity, the loss of its chapter house would have been a death sentence. But not this chapter of unflappable determined men.   As I said this morning, "you can burn down the church, but not the congregation." A fire may have destroyed our treasured college home, but it couldn't destroy what really mattered most... our bond and commitment to TKE, Delta Nu and one another.” Tad "Trek" Trecker, 739
“Since I joined the Delta Nu Alumni Association, I have reconnected with several of my pledge brothers and have renewed the bonds of brotherhood. I am so proud of the work the DNAA is doing to support the scholarship efforts of the Pete Greve Scholarship fund and the TKE Active Member Scholarship find.“ Bob “Bobbie D” Nielsen 640
