The committee for the Peter J. Greve Memorial TKE Alumni Scholarship is pleased to announce that Oak Park High School senior Jessica Dorrel is this year’s recipient. Ms. Dorrel was nominated for the $1,000 scholarship by her uncle, Delta Nu alumnus Tony Dorrel, 920. The award is good for the 2011-2012 term.

Ms. Dorrel has been active in student council and the Principal’s Advisory Council. Other activities for her include: varsity soccer and National Honor Society.  She has been on the Honor Roll all four years of high school.  Jessica, who is the daughter of Alan and Shelly Dorrel of Kansas City, plans to gain a degree in physical therapy.

Candidates for the scholarship are required to enroll and attend Northwest Missouri State University and be nominated by a TKE alumnus. Along with a completed application, candidates were asked to submit two letters of recommendation, an official high school transcript, a list of school and community activities and short essay describing their high school experience.

Thank you to the Scholarship Selection Committee for the time and effort they offer to make the scholarship successful.  Thank you also to all of the alumni that took the time to nominate applicants.  Your involvement encourages students to attend Northwest and promotes Delta Nu. Finally, thank you sincerely to all alumni that made the contributions that make this scholarship possible. To donate to the Peter J.
