Tau Kappa Epsilon

 

Founded at Northwest Missouri State University in 1954, Tau Kappa Epsilon – Delta Nu Chapter has had more than 2,000 members who have gone on to become leaders in their careers and communities. The TKE Alumni of Northwest Missouri State University are proud to support students attending Northwest Missouri State through the Peter J. Greve Memorial TKE Alumni Scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

A $1,000 scholarship, paid in two $500 installments, will be awarded to each qualified recipient.

• Recipients will be notified by mail and recognized at an appropriate school awards ceremony whenever possible.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher through the first semester of senior year.
• Be accepted as an entering freshman at Northwest Missouri State University.
• Be nominated by a TKE alumnus.
• No specific major is required.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Submit the completed application, official high school transcript, and all required supporting documents.
• Application deadline: April 1.
• All information must be complete, accurate, and legible.
• Essay question #8 is limited to one page.
• Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be disqualified.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The first $500 will be applied to the student’s university account. To receive the second $500, the recipient must:

• Complete at least 12 credit hours during the first semester.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Submit an official university transcript within 30 days after the first semester.

Failure to successfully complete the first semester will result in loss of the remaining scholarship, and the funds will be returned to the scholarship fund.
